Can I watch my documents being destroyed?
Yes — that's the point of on-site shredding. Our truck parks at your location and you can watch the entire process from start to finish.
Do I need to remove staples or paper clips first?
No. Our industrial shredder handles staples and small binder or paper clips without issue. Large binders or hanging folders should be removed.
What happens to the paper after it's shredded?
Shredded material is baled and sent to a paper recycling facility, so your old documents end up as new paper products rather than in a landfill.
What's the difference between one-time and recurring service?
One-time service is a single visit for a backlog of documents. Recurring service places a locked bin at your location and empties it on a set schedule, which suits offices that generate paper continuously.
How securely is my information handled?
Documents are destroyed on-site, in front of you, so there's no transport or storage step where paper could go missing. You receive a signed certificate of destruction for your records.

Do you destroy hard drives or take old electronics?
Yes, in small volumes. If a few drives, USB sticks or old devices turn up during a paper cleanout, we'll destroy the media and take the e-waste with us, and the number of drives destroyed goes on your certificate. For large amounts, or for regulated industries that need serial-level documentation, we recommend our partner Mansfield Technologies, a veteran-owned company in Mansfield that does hard drive shredding and electronics recycling on-site with NSA-listed equipment. How much does it cost?
One-time shredding is $10 per standard banker's box, dropping to $8 a box after the seventh, plus one flat travel charge ($75 within an hour of Galion) and, while diesel is above $5.80, a $15 fuel surcharge. The quote is the price; it only changes if the box count is different when we arrive, and we go over that with you before anything is charged or shredded. Recurring service starts at $45 per console or $65 per bin, per visit, with no travel charge; containers rent for $10 a month. Full rates and an instant calculator are on the pricing page.
Do I have to sign a contract for recurring service?
Yes — a simple one-year agreement, and that's what lets us keep recurring pricing the lowest in the area with no travel charge. It's one page, there's no auto-renewal trap, and the cancellation clause is plain English.
Is there a travel charge?
Not on recurring service — scheduled accounts never pay travel. One-time jobs have one flat charge, quoted up front: $75 anywhere within an hour of Galion, stepping up with drive time farther out, and waived on jobs of 100 boxes or more. See the travel charge table.
How do I schedule a pickup?
Call, text, or use the contact form. We typically respond within 24 hours with an appointment window and a price. Our regular hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm, but if your business needs an evening or weekend visit, ask — we schedule them when we can.
