Host a Shred Day. We bring the truck.
A Community Shred Day is a public event where people bring their old paperwork to your parking lot and watch it destroyed on the spot. Banks, credit unions, churches, townships, senior centers and civic clubs host them because they draw a crowd and do real good — identity theft still starts with paper in a trash can.
Pick a date and location
A Saturday morning in a parking lot with room for cars to line up works best. We'll help you choose a time window — usually two to four hours.
Spread the word
We provide a flyer and social media wording you can share. Most hosts announce a limit per car (for example, three boxes or bags) so everyone gets a turn.
Event day
Our truck arrives early, we handle every box from car to shredder, and your team gets to greet neighbors. We hand you a certificate for the total weight destroyed.

What people can bring
Paper of any kind: statements, tax returns, old checks, medical bills, junk mail with personal details. Staples and paper clips are fine. We'll ask them to leave binders, plastic and electronics at home unless hard drive destruction is part of your event.

We're planning joint community Shred Days with our partner Mansfield Technologies: our truck for paper, theirs for hard drives, phones and old electronics, in one parking lot. If you'd like to host one of those, say so when you call.
