Document shredding for Banks & Credit Unions
GLBA, the FACTA Disposal Rule and your regulators all require documented, secure destruction of customer information. Branches also generate paper every day, which means a locked container and a schedule are not optional.
Who this is for
Community banks, credit unions, branch offices, loan operations and mortgage servicers.
What needs shredding
Loan applications and files, account-opening documents, signature cards, statements, teller work, wire and ACH records, and member correspondence.
The rule that applies
GLBA — and the certificate of destruction that documents you followed it.
What we recommend
Recurring service at every branch, scheduled together so travel is never charged, plus community Shred Days that bring members through the door. Consoles fit behind the teller line; bins fit the operations area.

Questions we get from banks & credit unions
Can you service multiple branches on one schedule?
Yes. We route them together and invoice on one statement.
What about retired ATMs, servers and drives?
That is a job for our partner Mansfield Technologies, whose team includes former banking-technology people and who do hard drive shredding and electronics recycling on-site with serial-level certificates.
Do you host Shred Days for members?
Yes. A Saturday morning in your parking lot; we bring the truck and a flyer template.
Will our examiner accept your certificate?
The certificate lists date, location, volume and method and is signed. It is the standard documentation examiners look for.
Ready to set up shredding for your banks & credit union?
We quote in writing before anything is scheduled.
